I am so excited about this idea I had about achieving a #nourishmentality! I was reminded today: “When you have an inspired thought, you have to trust it and you have to act on it!” HENCE, my idea (dun dun-dun DUN!):
Offering 3 Lucky People a Digital Vision Board
made by yours truly!!
Subscribing to my blog, will enter you into the drawing! The offer also goes out to my Instagram account, too, and there all you need to do is tag 3 other friends who you think would benefit a vision board and start manifesting some dreams!
The idea came today, as I have been spending the past couple of days reminding myself of the realness of the Law of Attraction: I watched Amanda Frances’ Money Mentality Makeover Extravaganza videos, I watched The Secret, I added to my vision board, as well as put gold stars next to the dreams that have manifested! Today, my mind has been blown!… as it always is when I watch/listen to/read anything about the power of the law of attraction.
For some of you reading, the terms “law of attraction,” “manifestation,” or “vision board” might be foreign to you. Let me explain the total MAGIC that are these things!
Let’s start with this basic truth: “What you think, you become.” Think about it. If you constantly have on your mind that you are messy and lazy, you’ll do things to affirm that you are correct. Your brain always want to prove you right. On the positive side of the coin, if you think of how clean and motivated you are, you will—without really noticing it—start to do those things more, and will eventually become a clean and motivated person. In other, more mystic-sounding words, I’m echoing the words of a scholar interviewed in The Secret: “Your life is a physical manifestation of the thoughts that go on in your head.”
The law of attraction means that whatever attitudes, energies, vibrations—whatever you want to call them!—you are putting out into your world, it will be given to you! Essentially, all you need to do is ask yourself what you truly want, and by the law of attraction, it will manifest in your life. If you think of anyone who achieved something great, it started out with them wanting to achieve it, without knowing how it would happen. But, low and behold, it happened!
The same can happen for us, too! Maybe it’s a good relationship you desire, a character trait, a house, a certain amount of money. There are no wrong answers! If you’re putting it out there, it will come around to you!
The key, though, isn’t just to think of what you want and be done with it… you have to really be specific and feel it!
1. Identify what you want — Be specific! No one is judging your desires!
2. Believe that it’s already yours — What you want is there for you! It’s waiting for you to be ready to receive it!
3. Feel and Visualize — visualize yourself as already having it. How does that feel? Really ruminate in that feeling and let it soak in to you!
4. Expect it — Know that it’s on it’s way! Don’t rush it, but believe that it’s yours and that it’s coming.
THEN! To go the extra mile, you can do exercises to help you visualize and feel the things you want! Some ways that people do this is through a vision board! It can be done in many different forms: bulletin board, computer background, phone lock screen, a note book, etc. Basically, it is a collection of pictures that remind you of the desires you want to manifest! Pictures that make you feel a certain way: positive, excited, joyful. It evokes the feelings of having that desire as if it was already yours!
My vision board is a book! I’ve pasted pictures in the book of relationship goals, children, trips, experiences, and belongings I want to have! It’s SO fun making the book because you sift through magazines and Pinterest to find pictures that resemble to you what you want—that evoke the feelings you will have when you receive it! The pictures should give you joy to look at!
As you look through your vision board, which I try to do as often as I can (usually a couple times a week, but at one point I was doing it every day!)… as you look through your vision book, board, background, whatever!, put transport yourself to that picture. Visualize yourself there! Picture those new shoes on your feet! Picture walking through the streets of Venice! Picture yourself holding hands with a true love! And FEEL what it is like to have your desires!
I was BLOWN away by the manifestations that have come to pass by doing this! Some of them, I hadn’t even realized!! I went through my vision book and dream journal tonight and put a gold star next to the things that had already been manifested! On one list I wrote, over half of the things had happened! In the vision book, I was surprised by how many things had happened: I had become a good surfer, I had lived in Hawaii, I had moved to Oregon, I had worked at a dream job, I had made certain friends! These things were pictured in my book and written in my journal and they HAPPENED!
It’s so amazing to have this key! This knowledge that anything is possible, if only we can move our own blockages out of the way and become available to receiving our desires by identifying them, believing their already ours, and visualizing them! I know that whatever I write or paste in my vision book that it will happen!
Because of my experiences with my own vision board, I really believe that it can work for anyone! It can be time consuming to start a vision board! Often, it is effort enough to sit down and truly meditate on what it is we really want! SO! I want to offer 3 people a digital vision board!! You send me a link to a Pinterest board, or send me a folder of photos, and I’ll go through the effort of putting it together for you! If making a Pinterest board is even too much time for you, then give me a list of some specific desires you have and I’ll do the rest! Subscribing to my blog, will enter you into the drawing! The offer goes out to my Instagram account, too, and there all you need to do is tag 3 other friends who you think would want a vision board and start manifesting some dreams!
